?⚫⚽ URGENT ‘CLUB SECRETARY’** JOB OPPORTUNITY ⚽⚫?

BTM United FC recently announced that Nicola Johns has reluctantly stepped down from position as Club Secretary, after being in post for many years. Nicola will be remaining as the Club Treasurer for the time being, and to assist this transitional phase of the club going forward.

Now though is Nicola’s time to commit past time spent in the Club Secretary role to other areas of her life, and we applaud each and every season that Nicola has been instrumental in keeping BTM in order, as a club that nearly folded at one point, and thankfully it didn’t thanks to her remaining in the role – So, we all wish her well in her future.

Therefore, BTM United FC now invites applications for the position of Club Secretary, which it is important to note is an entirely voluntary role, following the imminent departure of Nicola.

We are most interested in expressions of interest or applications in the role, from within the club as it stands because to have somebody at the helm who already has an affinity with the club, the local community and can assist in both the day to day secretary role duties but also assist the Management Committee in shaping the future and longevity of the club for future generations of local children, would be the most preferred.

In brief, (we will forward each interested individual the finer details in due course) the club secretary role requires working on behalf of the club in personal time, somewhat consistently and:

**Job share due to time available would be possible. However, FAW League Rules stipulate that there must be one static registered point of contact in the role of Club Secretary at all times, to satisfy FAW League Rules – so we could accept a second person as ‘Assistant Club Secretary’ to assist the nominated holder in the course of their duties.
