'How To' Set My Child's Training Availability?

An easy-to-read guide, for how to set your child's availability for upcoming Training Sessions.

EDITED - You will likely have received an Email / App notification of a news article that was published this afternoon by the club. To All Members,

Now that we have over 120 members, which includes Club Officers, Coaches, Team Admins, Covid Leads, Parents, and Players registered for the Club 'Website', 'Club' App, and 'Manager' App, we felt it a good time to put together this quick guide on how you are able to ever so simply list your child's 'Availability' for the next up-coming 'Training Session'. which you can find below.

*Please Note*
By doing either of the below two routes to marking your child's likely attendance, you enable Age Group Coaches, and their Team Admins / Covid Leads to be able to take a Digital 'Training Session' Attendance Register, through their 'Manager' App. This then is much quicker than writing details down on a paper version, it risking getting wet, or accidentally misplaced with the parent of players basic details on - neither of these risks we wish to see if we can ALL make full use of the BTM Website, Club, or Manager Apps.

Back to the quick guides. These are split into two distinct named sections, one for those registered and able to use the 'Club' app, and those who prefer/need to use the Club 'Website'.

HOW TO SET YOUR CHILD'S TRAINING AVAILABILITY;

Club Website Usage:

Step-by-Step Guide

Step #1 Go to the club's BTM UTD FC | 50 YRS 1969 - 2019 | WWW.BTMUnited.Co.Uk website in your chosen internet browser.

Step #2 Click 'LOGIN' in the top right corner of the page;

Step #3 Next, select the 'YOUR ACCOUNT' link next to your profiles picture (If you have uploaded one)

Step #4 You will now click the next 'YOUR ACCOUNT' link, as in the below image.

Step #5 Now please select 'SCHEDULE', which will open the next screen.


Step #6 Next, please select your 'CHILD'S NAME', (1) which will be to the right of your own on the page.


  • Next, tap the left-sided arrow button on their schedule page, (2) which will often have a highlighted number visible. This denotes how many upcoming sessions your child's Coach has them assigned to.
  • Once you have selected the above, it will reveal that months Training Session's as set by your child's age group coaches, and then to the right side of any given session listed, you will see 'Set Availability' which is clickable (3) - please select this.

Step #7 You should now see that it has opened that specific sessions 'Set Availability' and gives you one of 4 options: 'Available', 'Unavailable', 'Maybe' and 'Not Set'. You can also add a 'Note' to your child's coach, if the need arises and this will be delivered to them in the system.

Step #8 Finally, back a step in the chosen training sessions listing, you should now note that it shows what your choice was in the previous Step #7 above - in this example, it is set to 'Available' and also changes the diagonal thin line, just to the right side of that sessions time and date. You can always change the Availability at any time if for e.g. you have chosen an option and have had a change of circumstances, where your child can either make a session or now can't etc. You simply repeat the above steps to do so.

VOILA - You're all caught up to speed on 'How To Set My Child's Training Availability' in the Club 'Website'.

Club App Usage:

Step-by-Step Guide

Step #1 Load the club's 'Club' app on your smartphone / tablet. Normally, this would still be logged in, but if not simply log in with your Pitchero account details chosen during original registration.

Step #2 Click 'CALENDAR' icon 2nd from bottom left of the app page.

Step #3 Click 'CHILD'S NAME' in the top right hand corner of the app page.

Step #4 Next, select the 'SET AVAILABILITY' area of your child's next listed Training Session.

Step #5 You should now see that it has opened that specific sessions 'Set Availability' and gives you one of 4 options: 'Available', 'Unavailable', 'Maybe' and 'Not Set'. You can also add a 'Note' to your child's coach, if the need arises and this will be delivered to them in the system.

FINAL STEP: COVID-19 Parent / Guardian of, Player, Coach, Team Admin & COVID Leads Protocol Documents

We know that you are now aware that the COVID-19 epidemic is meaning that it is often a fluid set of changing situations on many fronts, and BTM United FC's Management Committee is fully committed to doing our utmost to bring about a safe and continuingly so, Safer Return to Training and soon Playing for all concerned with the club.

Therefore, please make sure that you REMAIN familiarised with both of the below documents upon your on-going registration with the club, for the website, or it's apps, as we ALL need to comply with the various requirements set upon us, for training and soon to be a form of playing to continue.

You can always download the latest versions of 1) 'BTM UTD FC COVID-19 - Self-Health Check Policy', and 2) 'BTM UTD FC COVID-19 - Rules - ALL Live Phases' *always check the date in the filename, in case of updated versions* plus various other pertinent Club Documents, in the: 'Information > Documents' section of the website - https://www.btmunited.co.uk/d/documents.html where you can simply view in your devices web browser for this, as at this time it is not available in the Club app.
